Treasure House Kids

Kids Camp is designed for kids Grade 3-6, which means by the time camp gets here your now 2^nd grader will be a 3^rd grader, 3^rd Grader will be a 4^th grader and so on.  The camp theme is going to be great.  Here is what Centri Kid has to say:  “John 1:12 tells us that “to all who did receive Him, He gave them the right to be children of God, to those who believe in His name…” Kids understand what it means to be a kid in our world. They understand how to handle school and family responsibilities. They know how they like to have fun, and they know what they are allowed to do and what they aren’t. But, what does it mean to be a child of God? In the Summer of 2010, that’s the question we’ll answer …...”

Dates of Camp:  June 23-27, 2010  Ridgecrest, NC  $286

                         July 30-August 1  Ridgecrest, NC  $164

To reserve your child’s place at camp, we need a $50 nonrefundable deposit by February 28, 2010.  The deposit must be directly given to Ms. Kim or brought to the Church Office.  Deposits placed in the offering plate will not be credited to your child.  The remaining balance of camp will be due the Sunday before we leave for camp.  Once a reservation is made you are responsible for the remaining balance—it is not transferable.

This camp is an excellent camp that will bring your child closer to Christ and experience a true missionary camp.  Your child will sleep in cabins with bunk beds, have chapel twice a day, go on hikes, slip-n-slide, target shooting with BB guns and bow -n-arrow.  Dennis Bailey is the camp director--he is a man that truly loves the Lord and has a heart for kids to grow closer to Christ.  This is a camp without the bells and whistles--no electronics, just your child, God and nature.  Ms. Kim will be a counselor the week of July 11-16 with girls age 10-12. 

 Cost of camp is $150 for the week.  Includes all meals, snacks and t-shirt.  Scholarships are available.

Camp Dates:  Teen Girls= Jul 4-9, Girls age 10-12 = July 11-16, Girls age 7-9 = July 18-23, Teen Boys = July 25-30, Boys age 10-12 = August 1-6, Boys age 7-9 = August 8-13

Missions Camp is a fun camp where kids focus on missionaries and experience great outdoor fun.  Kids will experience talks from real live missionaries and be able to ask questions and interact them, getting to know how God uses each of us to be a missionary. 

Date & Location:  July 26-30  Camp Truett Hayesville, NC

Cost:  $150 per kid and/or counselor
