We have many life opportunities for you to put to work your spiritual gift and
Serve Our Savior!
Romans 12:6-8 “We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.”
Treasure House has “SOS Life Opportunities” that will keep you on target.

Jesus desires that we love one another. We can show this love in many ways and Treasure House has some unique opportunities for our kids to show love to each other.
All Sunday School Classes age 3 through Grade 5 have a special mission project that allows kids to jump in with both feet. This year we have some of the most awesome missions!
3-5 Year Olds have adopted the Senior Faith Ladies class. Monthly the kids will be preparing a small gift to present to the class--just to say "Jesus loves you and so do we!"
Kindergarten has adopted our "Friends of Jesus" class for our physically or emotionally challenged members of Pole Creek. Periodically they will send them crafts made personaly by the Kindgarteners and occassionaly they have been known to serve a special treat!
1st Grade has adopted "Pisgah Manor", a local nursing home. Periodically they send cards to the residents, prepare a basket of flowers and sometimes they even visit to sing songs and spread some smiles.
2nd Grade has adopted Pole Creek's Deacons. These men serve our Church with passion and care. 2nd Graders work diligently to send words of encouragement and thanks to these servants of God.
3rd Grade has adopted a Homeless Mission. Each month they will focus on ways to help feed the homeless. It might be collecting money to sponsor meals, a prayer card sent to a local homeless mission, and of course special prayer each month for the Homeless. Once a year, the 3rd Graders will attend a local homeless shelter and serve the homeless people. They will prepare a special dessert themselves and provide the food for the meal.
4th Grade has taken on the mission of ministering to our Church Homebound. Each month they will focus on ways that send encouragement to these fine folks.
5th Grade's mission is to reach out to a kid in need. The kids will brain strom with ways they can provide for this kid be it through words of encouragement, acts of service and helping to provide for their physical needs.
