Treasure House Kids

Goal:  Nuggets should be able to recognize a Bible when held up.  When asked the question: “Where is Jesus?”, the child should point to their heart and then point straight up.  They should be able to sing the song “Jesus loves me.”  They should know how to bow their heads, close their eyes and put their hands together for prayer.  They should be able to say simple prayers such as a meal time, thank you and bed time prayer.

The first two years of child's life is change, after change, after change.  They go from being totally dependent to thinking they can run the world--it is such an amazing adventure.  We will tap into this lust for knowledge by giving them Bible lessons each and every week.  We will use the same Scripture throughout the month to insure that we allow them to suceed and conquer the Bible message by being part of the lesson.  By the end of the month, the child, especially those talking, will definitely be reciting parts of the lesson--how exciting.

Gather:  Sunday 11AM, 5:30 PM and special class on Wednesday @ 7PM
