The FLAKES! Matthew 6:19-21
They are anything but flaky, they are AWESOME! These are our volunteers who are Fun, Loving, Awesome, Kind and Evangelistic. Their mission is to grow in the love and admiration of the Lord as they prepare to teach our children about our wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ. Their teaching will come from the overflow of their knowledge, their passion to serve a risen Savior, and the joy of life that they experience in abundance because of their relationship with Jesus.

OUR GOAL: Nuggets should be able to recognize a Bible when held up. When asked the question: “Where is Jesus?”, the child should point to their heart and then point straight up. They should be able to sing the song “Jesus loves me.” They should know how to bow their heads, close their eyes and put their hands together for prayer. They should be able to say simple prayers such as a meal time, thank you and bed time prayer.
The first two years of child's life is change, after change, after change. They go from being totally dependent to thinking they can run the world--it is such an amazing adventure. We will tap into this lust for knowledge by giving them Bible lessons each and every week. We will use the same Scripture throughout the month to insure that we allow them to suceed and conquer the Bible message by being part of the lesson. By the end of the month, the child, especially those talking, will definitely be reciting parts of the lesson--how exciting.
